Alley Cat Race

Saturday November 12, 2011

Start time: 4:00pm
End time: 5:00pm

Description:

Alley Cat Racers will be issued a passport booklet at our base of operations in Frontier Town just before the start. At 4:00, the race will begin. It is up to you to find the fastest route to the locations listed in the passport, get each page stamped at the stops and get back to Frontier Town as quickly as possible Racers may be required to perform a task, answer a riddle or deliver an item to or from stops in order to get their passport stamped. Think of it as a scavenger hunt on bikes!

Your goal is to return to Frontier Town with a completely filled out passport. Passports will only be stamped at the locations listed and after you've completed the "task" at the location. You may complete the stops in any order, but you only have 1 hour to do so. Hint: Get back to Frontier Town by 5:00, regardless of how many stamps you have. You must ride your bike to the stops. Any type of bicycle is acceptable for the race. Kids may join their parents in the race for free, but must remain together throughout the race.

  • You are responsible for following All Traffic Laws.
  • Helmets are required.
  • You will be given the list of stops right before the race starts.
  • Please come equipped with either a messenger bag or small backpack to carry items in.

There is no additional registration fee, but you must be signed up for the Mountain Bike Race or Bello Fondo in order to join us for the Alley Cat.

Please make sure to sign up in advance when you check in with registration and pick up your goodie bag.
