It's time to get the kids racing! This is the second year of our event just for kids we're calling the Kids Kriterium. We will close off a 1/3 mile loop of Hidden Valley Drive in the historic Tamarisk Grove district behind the Cave Creek Coffee Company. We will have races for kids from 18 months to 14 in different age brackets and a special category for kick bikes. Strider "kick bikes" will be available for event use at no cost.
Medallions and wrist bands will be given to all finishers. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each category and each gender will receive gold, silver and bronze colored medallions. Each child will receive a raffle ticket good for a drawing to win Mirraco BMX bike similar to the one shown below which was won by Mike Nicholls.
Parents must sign a waiver and be present during the event. HELMETS ARE REQUIRED. Bicycles will be inspected by Flat Tire Bike Shop and volunteers for safety prior to the start of the race.
Register on ACTIVE.COM, by mail or on the day of the event by 12:00pm (noon).

Finishers Medallion: All finishers will receive this handmade art piece created by the artist Judy Darbyshire. Each medallion will be signed by the artist.
